This is sort of like hello in Japanese, they really don’t have a word for hello. I have been missing in action for a while, sorry about that, but now I am back.
I like Japanese and Chinese and any other Asian language especially when I watch a movie originally shot in that language. It’s pretty neat to see an actors mouth move for half a minute and the American voice actor (can you really call them actors?) who is dubbing the voice just use a one syllable word. I just finished watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (fyi: this is not a kids movie and you will not see any tigers or dragons, they must always be crouching and hiding).
